The train ride from Denali to Talkeetna takes approximately 4 1/2 hours. Several cruise lines have dedicated rail cars for their passengers. On our journey was Princess and Holland America in addition to Alaska Railway’s own rail cars. Each of our rail cars has a domed viewing area with tables for four and bar service.

The Mt. McKinley Princess Wilderness Lodge offers exceptional views of Mt. McKinley (Mt. Denali) …….when she decides to show herself.
