The Blue Mountains! A beautiful, temperate rain forest.

We took an all-day tour with Anderson tours.  Our guide, Ian, is a native Australian, and he gave us an excellent tour.  There were 18 of us on his mini-bus.  It was a little tight; every seat was filled.

Sydney Australia Day 2

Our second day in Sydney was a Sunday. We took a Taxi to Macquarie church of Christ, a non-denominational church in one of the suburbs of Sydney.

Sydney, Australia – Day 1

The 16+ hour flight from Dallas to Sydney was on a Qantas airbus.  This flight included many firsts for us: first flight over 10.5 hours, first time on Qantas, first crossing of the International Date Line, first time on a double-decker plane, and first time having a vacant seat between us -which meant this was the first time I actually slept a few hours on a plane.
