Tel Megiddo is a National Park in Israel.
It’s a short hike to the ruins along a smooth walkway.
Below is the “City Gate,” and on top of the Tel (archaeological mound) is evidence of stables and foundations of other buildings.

There are tunnels here with over 180 stairs down to explore the tunnel. And of course, what goes down must come up, so since I was still nursing a broken foot, I opted to explore the gift shop while hubby explored the tunnels. He did make a picture for me though.
From Megiddo, we headed toward Tiberius along the Sea of Galilee.
