This is the traditional location where Jesus taught his disciples how to pray as recorded in Matthew 6: 9-13 and in Luke 11: 1-4 . We have come to call this the “Lord’s Prayer.”
The Western “Wailing” Wall
We passed by the southwest corner of the Temple Mount. The dome you see is the top of the “Dome of the Rock,” a holy place built by the Muslims on the site of the original temple.
