Pool of Bethesda and Saint Anne’s Church

The pool of Bethesda is mentioned in John 5: 1-15.

St Anne’s Church is next to the pool.

Soon before she passed away, my very dear friend, Jaunelle, told us to make sure to sing inside this building because it is well-known for its acoustics.  She was right. We sang, “Our God, He is Alive,” and it gave me chill bumps.  Juanelle traveled the world (much like I hope to) and loved talking about her travels and hearing about mine.  I’m sure this won’t even compare to the singing in heaven, but perhaps we got a small taste of it.

I am attempting to put a video of our singing in this blog.  I’m not sure yet if this will work or if people will be able to click on it and actually see/hear it, but I certainly hope so.  If not, you can go to Youtube to see several other videos of singing in St Anne’s church.

Next stop, the Western Wall.
