The Great Synagogue in Jerusalem is a modern place of worship today. 
A member of the synagogue met our group and gave us a tour. Men must wear a head covering to enter the synagogue. There are skull caps to borrow at the entrance if needed.
The lobby contains a large Mezuzah collection.
